We are not always born with a glowing, perfect complexion. We need to really work hard to keep our skin beautiful and spot free. Even those with the most gorgeous skin have a breakout or two once in a while. And when these pimples and zits pop up on our skin, they leave behind scars and blemishes that refuse to go away naturally.

Expensive beauty creams on the market too fail to work their magic when it comes to preventing and fully healing breakouts on the skin. While there is no unfailing way of doing this, the best possible, and even long-term way of making your skin radiant is by eating nutritious, and eating foods that will prevent the occurrence of pimples in the first place.

Simply eat these, and there won’t be any acne scars on your face again.

1. Omega-3 fatty acids

Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids are great for skin, believed to have skin cleansing properties. You need to have a healthy diet that includes lots of flaxseeds, walnuts and fish. Omega-3 also works against inflammation, which means if you have red stains on your skin, it will gradually subside. Add flaxseeds to your shakes and smoothies and munch on a few almonds everyday.

2. Antioxidant rich foods

Eat as many foods as possible rich in antioxidant such as spinach, green tea and cherries. They are very good for the skin as they purify the skin and fight the free radicals that are primarily responsible for breakouts and pimples. Include spinach in your daily diet, and see how your skin glows naturally. Sip on green tea instead of one with milk and sugar.
