Pimples and acne surface and resurface on the skin, but what they leave behind are scars, dark spots and a trail of hyperpigmentation stains. Little wonder, you think why your face never has that natural glow, and always appears dull and covered with dark spots. It doesn’t help that you pick up fancy creams on the market and prescribe to monthly beauty treatments at your neighbourhood salon. For a couple of days your face seems clear, but those pimple scars and pigmentation marks seem to return with vengeance, and you will so helpless yet again. What if you could fix this daily skincare woe at home and be confident about your complexion and its natural glow? In fact, you just need two basic ingredients found in every household, and your blemish and pigmentation removal face pack is ready.
This is the most natural way of getting a clear skin that is cost-effective too. Just junk all those chemically-rich cosmetics that only make your skin duller. You won’t regret using this homemade beauty DIY.
Ingredients:
2tsp Turmeric powder
1tsp Lemon juice (if you have an oily skin) or milk (if you have a dry or sensitive skin)
Method of Preparation:
Blend the ingredients together into a thick yellow paste. Now apply it on your face and neck, make a thick coat over the affected areas. Allow it to seep into the skin for the next 20 minutes. Once it is fully dry, rinse off with cool water. You can use this pack daily for a couple of weeks, and you will see the difference in the tone of your skin.
The dark spots would have vanished, even the pigmentation stains gone. Your face will feel fresh and glowing, and your complexion several tones brighter.
Best to apply the pack before taking a shower. But make sure you do not immediately step out in the sun after taking this beauty treatment.
Turmeric, the primary ingredient in the face pack helps clear acne scars, reduces redness and inflammation of the skin, while also cutting down oil secretion by the sebaceous glands. Lemon is rich in Vitamin C and is a natural bleach which helps lighten skin tone, and if you go with milk, your face would be nourished well as it is a natural moisturiser.
