You love your hair the most, but always in a dilemma over how to take care of it. Hair loss is your greatest worry because no matter what shampoo, conditioner you use or the expensive hair spa ritual you follow, your mane is still dry, frizzy, and prone to breakage. When you shampoo your hair you lose hair the most. when you brush your hair, you again end up losing a lot of those precious strands, how then can you put an end to this problem? Then how can you stop hair fall? How can you naturally cure hair fall at home without visiting hair clinics or resorting to chemical hair treatments at salons?
You need just a little bit of patience and follow these easy steps. In 12 days you hair will grow dark and thick. Here’s how you can stop hair fall.
1. Get off all hair styling tools
Remember it is your blow dryer, straightening iron, and hair curler that does maximum damage to your hair than any other. The more you use them or the chemical styling products like hair spray, gel, mousse, greater the chances of hair loss as they make your hair dry, dull, frizzy and your hair follicles weak.
2. Head massage to boost blood circulation
Make it a point to massage your hair everyday for at least 10 minutes before you go for your bath. Use your fingertips and gently massage your scalp and then the back of your head. You can even do so with a warm oil for better results. Make your pick from amla oil, Moroccan Argan oil, Castor oil, hibiscus oil, and massage your hair with it and rinse off with a gentle shampoo. This ritual will improve the blood circulation to your scalp, drain toxins, and make your hair follicles strong.
3. Fenugreek, curry leaves, coconut oil hair mask to stop hair fall
Forget chemical shampoos and hair spas, instead spend a few minutes to make this easy and effective hair mask that will stop hair fall immediately. For this you need , 10-12 fresh curry leaves, 2 tbsp coconut oil, and 1 tbsp fenugreek (methi) powder. Heat the curry leaves in the coconut oil till they pop, then strain the leaves and pour the oil into a glass jar. Tip in the fenugreek powder into the mix. Shake well till it forms a homogeneous mixture. Apply this oil to your scalp and massage well from root to tip. Allow it to soak into your scalp for about 20 minutes and rinse off with a gentle shampoo. All these natural ingredients contribute to making your hair roots strong and prevents their breakage.
4. Make a homemade hair conditioner
Why not make this simple hair conditioner at home and get a natural shine to your locks. This is better than any shop-bought conditioners, and very easy to put together, and most importantly, will stop hair fall naturally. In a mug of water, add 3 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp honey, and blend it properly. Once you shampoo your hair, rinse it with this mixture. Alternatively, you can boil tea leaves in water, strain the leaves and rinse your hair with the tea water. Both make your hair naturally glossy and smooth. You won’t need any serums after this.
5. Dry your hair with an old t-shirt, not towel
Throw away that towel, embrace instead the old worn out t-shirt from your closet to dry your hair after washing it. The soft, used cotton t-shirt will not lead to any hair breakage unlike a coarse towel that breaks hair due to friction. Simply squeeze out the excess water using the t-shirt and let your hair dry naturally. This method will stop hair fall in no time.
6. Use the right hair brush
A lot depends on the hair brush you use. It determines how much hair you lose and its quality and texture. Always go for a soft bristle brush to stimulate your scalp and enhance its blood circulation. Brush at least twice a day – morning and evening – in gentle strokes from root to tip. But always use your fingertips to free the tangles, and never drive your hair brush through it else your hair will break.
7. Eat flaxseeds everyday
To stop hair fall and make your hair regrow soon, get into the habit of eating a spoonful roasted flaxseeds in the morning before breakfast. Flaxseeds are a natural source of Omega-3 fatty acids which nurtures the hair follicles, improves the elasticity of hair fibres and makes them less vulnerable to breakage.
8. Drink amla juice daily

9. Meditate for 10 minutes
Take time out for at least 10 minutes everyday to do some breathing exercises that yoga prescribes such as pranayam, or simply close your eyes and try to focus on something. Meditation not only trains your mind and eases your nerves, it also has a positive impact on your central nervous system by making it active and healthy. You will see a positive change in your hair growth in just a few weeks of doing this.
10. Rubbing your fingernails
As per acupressure, rubbing your fingernails against each other rapidly can accelerate hair growth. In fact, you may have seen a lot of people around you do that – and wondered why. You need to do this exercise for about 10 minutes daily and the energy channels associated with hair growth get activated.

11. Trimming your hair regularly
Agreed, you prefer your hair long. By trimming it you won’t make it any shorter but promote oxygenation that is essential for a healthy and lush growth of hair. Often you might notice your hair looks thin at the ends, that’s because you haven’t trimmed it in a long time, and they are full of split ends and have stopped growing properly. Give yourself a new haircut every few months.
12. Do not wear a high ponytail
Tight hairstyles might be in, besides they make you look prim. But if you care a modicum about your hair, steer clear of such ways of doing them up. Braid your hair, knot it or wear a ponytail, but by tying them up too tight your hair follicles become weak and eventually cause hair fall.
