The latest that to have caught the social media’s constantly wavering attention is a student from a university in Taiwan who has toes as long as fingers. So much so that at one glance you can even mistake them to be fingers! The girl as per news reports posted photographs of her toes intertwined like fingers on Dcard, a Chinese-language blog for university students in Taiwan.
In one picture, she is shown holding a scale to her big toe just to give you a sense of its length, which is shocking or surprisingly about 5 Centimetres.
The girl goes on to say in her post, “Since my childhood, I have always drawn attention whenever I wear flip-flops. People would surround me and discuss about me as if I were an animal. I have even been told that I didn’t evolve properly. Some people would ask me to use my ‘four hands’ to climb a tree,” reported Daily Mail.
But the girl is proud of her feet and with them her slender toes. She calls them Greek foot as her second toe is longer than her big toe, which is apparently a sign of beauty.
Genetic or not, her parents too have long toes, and as a growing up child she thought they were pretty normal. It is only after she saw other people’s toes did she think, “how come their toes are so short?” Then she grew up and realised perhaps they were the only ones with this anomaly.
Long or short, beautiful or abnormal, they are surely different.
