8 Tricks To Improve Your Eyesight Naturally

Just like you exercise every muscle of the body, it is important to exercise your eyes too. You may have noticed your legs get weaker when not exercised for long, similarly your eyesight get weaker too when the muscles around your eyes are not exercised. This is the basic difference between people that wear spectacles, and the ones who don’t.

We suggest some brilliant ways to get rid of those heavy spectacles in no time.

1. Take a quick 2 minute nap after every 2-3 hours of sitting before your computers or laptops

When you stare at the computer for very long it strains the muscles around your eyes. Experts advise you to shut your eyes tight for a few minutes every 2 to 3 hours. The muscles will instantly feel relieved.

2. Remove your glasses periodically and exercise the muscles around your eyes by massaging them.

From time to time take off your glasses and massage the skin around your eyes softly while applying a light pressure on the eyeballs with the tips of your index and middle fingers. Feel the pressure points around your eyes and press them gently. You should not feel any sort of pain as you do so.

3. Try eyes gymnastics, does wonders

4. Food for your eyes

If your vision is quite hazy without the glasses get into a habit of drinking carrot juice daily with a few drops of olive oil.

6. Warm water for eye wash

Always use warm water to wash and clean your eyes. Cold water can shock the capillaries of your eyes and redden them.

7. Get off your laptop or phone long before going to bed

You need to stay away from your laptop at least two hours before going to bed, to give your eyes enough time to recover.

8. Practice Trataka, all your vision problems will be solved

This is a traditional form of meditation where all your energies are focused on a small object at a certain distance. This is to boost your concentration and even strengthen your eye muscles. The process is believed to activate the imaginary third eye as well.

For this, first you need to place something at a moderate distance from you. Then you need to stare constantly at that object, and let your thoughts flow freely at that time. Slowly control your mind to keep the focus on the object. Your eyes will gradually start watering. Immediately close them, and allow them to rest for a few minutes.

Focus till the tears roll from your eyes, and slowly but surely your eyesight will improve.
