The claims have been backed by the University of Windsor in Canada conducted study at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, where the results have given hope to cancer patients across the globe. It was found that the dandelion root kills cancer cells effectively without any adverse effect on the healthy cells of the body.
The study concluded that a prolonged treatment using the roots of this herb can destroy most cancer cells, and due to the result, the team behind the research garnered great support to further their study on this magical herb.
A gentleman by the name of John DiCarlo, age 72, who is being treated for cancer for the past three years, experienced the healing properties of the root of dandelion.
By way of alternative therapy, he would drink the dandelion root tea, and surprisingly in just four months time he underwent remission.
