Toothache is the mother of all aches. It leads to painful waking hours that forbids you from eating, drinking or even distracting yourself with something else, followed by sleepless nights. The thing with toothache is you don’t see it coming, and when you are in the grip of it, there is just no respite unless you meet your dentist and then get on with the medication he prescribes. Until then it is living hell.

All of us at some point in our lives have faced blood-curdling toothache we wished would just stop. In times such as these if there was one magic potion that could give us instant relief from this pain, the world would have been a better place. There are several causes though of toothache which are totally frustrating such as plaque, tooth infection, cracked teeth, bad fillings and crown, gum injury, leaking of the filling, dental decay, sleep apnea and loss of tooth to name a few.

While a lot of these causes are beyond our control, and requires a trip to the dentist’s, there is an easy natural DIY remedy to instantly cure toothache wherever you are. It is actually that simple, and in just a minute your toothache will disappear.

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp Clove powder

1/2 tsp Coconut oil

Method of Preparation:

Take both the clove powder and coconut oil in a glass and blend it into a thick paste. Immediately apply it over your tooth and gums, particularly in the parts that hurt the most. In a few minutes the pain would have subsided. You can do this as many as three times a day to get better pain relief until the time the toothache lasts.

The eugenol in clove is an analgesic which is basically a pain relieving agent. It absorbs the pain in your tooth almost instantly, and the antibacterial property of coconut oil prevents any infection from spreading further. It in fact fights the bacteria in the tooth.
